liblinphone5 software package provides Linphones shared library part (supporting the SIP protocol), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblinphone5
liblinphone5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblinphone5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblinphone5 *
You will get with liblinphone5 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
